Kizimkazi Dolphin Tour in Zanzibar
Ocean & Marine · Half day

Kizimkazi Dolphin Tour

An early start to the south coast to watch wild dolphins in their natural waters, one of the island's most memorable mornings.

Overview

Kizimkazi, at Zanzibar's southern tip, is the island's best-known place to see wild dolphins.

An early departure gives the calmest sea and the best chance of encounters, as you head out by boat in search of the dolphin pods that frequent these waters. When conditions and the dolphins allow, there may be a chance to snorkel nearby. These are wild animals in the open sea, so sightings are never guaranteed, but they are common, and watching them move through their own environment is genuinely special.

A rewarding early morning, paired well with a southern or Jozani day.
